Dear Tina Fey,
Dear Tina Fey,
How are you doing Tina Fey? Sorry we haven’t written in a while. Do you miss us, Tina Fey? Because we are writing to tell you how much we will miss you once the new episodes of 30 Rock have all been shown and there are no more to show because of the writers strike. We will miss you a lot, Tina Fey.

I know this must be a hard time for you, Tina Fey, with the strike and all. I’m sure you are torn between wanting what is best for your writers, yet also not wanting your show to be off the air too long. We know that November its sweeps month, so it’s important that good, funny, quality shows get aired and get good ratings. Yet I know how much you support your writers. We do to, Tina Fey! In fact, in a parallel universe, we like to believe that WE are a couple of your writers!
But how are YOU doing, Tina Fey? Has anyone stopped to ask you how you are doing? How you feel about this? If you are sad or angry or just storing all that is happening to away as fodder for a future episode? Has anyone taken the time to bring you some lunch or a diet Coke? Has anyone patted you on the shoulder or given you a hug? Has anyone been sympathetic to how YOU feel? Because you seem like the type of person who is always looking out for everyone else, but whom maybe other people sometimes forget to look out for. I’m sure going home to your beautiful daughter and husband every night must help. But we’re proud of you too, Tina Fey. We’d love to bring you a sandwich and shake your hand sometime, and I totally don’t mean that in a dirty way.
What’s it like on the picket line, Tina Fey? I would think that it could be a lot of fun, spending time with all those creative people. Is it funny? Do you write clever lines on your picket signs? Or is that considered writing? Is there lots of banter? Inside jokes? Does Alec Baldwin show up on time? Does he tell fart jokes? Does Jane Krakowski come down and support you all? Do you get a free T-shirt? Or all you all too stressed out for that and just focus on the task at hand? I hope I’m not being too nosy or too superficial, Tina Fey. I just wonder what it is like day-to-day on the WGA picket line.
I better let you go, Tina Fey. But we here are hoping that you all there are doing okay. We support you 100%! We still watch the show every week because we love it so much. Is that okay or is that crossing the picket line? We hope this all works out soon so that you all can get back to writing this awesome show and we can get back to laughing.
Stay righteous, Tina Fey.
Lori
